Ingredients
  

Sardines
  • 500 grams fresh sardines cleaned and scaled
Batter
  • 100 grams all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Oil
  • 500 ml vegetable oil for frying

Method
 

Prepare the Sardines
  1. Clean and scale the sardines, then pat them dry with paper towels.
Make the Batter
  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and cold water until smooth.
Fry the Sardines
  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Dip each sardine in the batter and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Serve
  1. Remove the sardines from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain. Serve hot.
