Instructions
- Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Place seasoned chicken in the slow cooker; add chopped onion and minced garlic on top.
- Pour barbecue sauce over the chicken and add chicken broth for moisture.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours until tender.
- Shred chicken with two forks and mix back into sauce before serving.
