- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Drain and rinse the chickpeas; mash them until slightly chunky in texture.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together vital wheat gluten, garlic powder, oregano, and smoked paprika.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the mashed chickpeas; stir in chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
- Knead the mixture for 2-3 minutes until it becomes elastic.
- Shape into six sausage links and wrap each in parchment paper.
- Steam for 30 minutes or bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes until golden brown.
