- ½ cup fresh passion fruit pulp
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ¼ cup fresh passion fruit juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two round cake pans or line them with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
- Add the eggs one at a time to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the passion fruit pulp.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture while alternating with milk until just combined.
- Pour the batter evenly into prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cakes cool in pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks. Once cooled, drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar and fresh passion fruit juice.
