Instructions
- Rinse shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
- In one bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each shrimp in the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture until well coated.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry shrimp in batches until golden brown (about 2 minutes per side).
- For the sauce, combine orange juice, zest, soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbling.
- Toss fried shrimp in the sauce until evenly coated and serve hot.
