Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan.

  3. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, thyme, half of the caramelized onions (reserve the rest), salt, and pepper.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the loaf pan and shape it into a neat loaf.
  5. Bake for about 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. In the last five minutes of baking, top with shredded cheese and remaining caramelized onions until melted.
