- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
- 1/3 cup jelly or jam (your choice)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy (about 2 minutes). Mix in peanut butter until combined.
- Beat in the egg until fully integrated.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture; stir until just combined.
- Drop dough onto prepared sheets and create an indentation in each with your thumb. Fill each well with about half a teaspoon of jelly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Allow to cool slightly before transferring.
