- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, toss sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface into your desired shape and transfer it to the prepared baking sheet.
- Arrange the apple mixture on top of the pastry, folding over the edges slightly to create a border.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt granulated sugar until golden brown; slowly whisk in heavy cream and butter until smooth.
- Pour caramel sauce over the apples and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
