Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine milk and sugar until dissolved. Stir in heavy cream until warm but not boiling.
- Whisk salep powder with a bit of cold milk until smooth, then gradually mix it into the warm mixture while stirring continuously.
- Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature before refrigerating for about 2 hours.
- Pour chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer's instructions until soft-serve consistency is reached.
- Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.
