Instructions
- Prepare the filling: Sauté shallots in a pan until golden brown. Add ground pork and mushrooms; cook until browned. Stir in fish sauce and let cool.
- Make the dough: Mix rice flour with water until smooth and thick.
- Assemble dumplings: Flatten small portions of dough into circles, add filling in the center, and seal well.
- Steam: Place dumplings on banana leaves or parchment paper in a steamer; steam for about 30 minutes.
- Cool slightly before serving: Let them sit for five minutes before plating. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
