Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the cotton candy flavoring.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda; gradually mix into wet ingredients until well combined.
- Add food coloring until desired pastel shade is achieved.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
- Allow cooling slightly before transferring to wire racks.
