Instructions
- Gather and prepare your ingredients by peeling, coring, and dicing the apples.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine milk and egg; then mix into dry ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in diced apples until evenly coated.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides (about 3 minutes per side). Drain on paper towels and roll in cinnamon sugar while warm.
