- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 4 oz creamy goat cheese
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until about an eighth of an inch thick.
- Spread the goat cheese evenly over one side of the pastry.
- Scatter fresh blackberries over the goat cheese, pressing them down gently.
- Fold the pastry over and cut it into strips about one inch wide. Twist each strip together from both ends.
- Place the twists on the baking sheet, brush with egg wash, and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Drizzle with honey before serving.
