- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 1 cup fresh ricotta cheese
- 2 medium Honeycrisp apples, cored and sliced
- 2 tbsp raw honey
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss apple slices with cinnamon and a dash of honey. Spread evenly on a baking sheet.
- Roast apples for 20-25 minutes until tender and caramelized.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and toast the sourdough bread for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Spread ricotta generously on each slice of toast, top with roasted apples, and drizzle with remaining honey.
- Serve immediately while warm.
