- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, and egg until smooth.
- Combine wet ingredients into dry ingredients; stir gently until just combined (a few lumps are fine).
- Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter.
- Pour about half a cup of batter for each pancake; cook until bubbles form (about 2 minutes), then flip and cook for another minute until golden brown.
- Serve warm with maple syrup or your favorite toppings.
