Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by peeling and dicing the beets, chopping the carrots, and coring the apples into similar-sized pieces.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine diced beets and water. Bring to a gentle boil and simmer until tender (about 20 minutes).
- Add carrots and apples to the saucepan, cover, and steam for an additional 15 minutes until all ingredients are soft.
- Remove from heat; let cool slightly before blending everything until smooth. Adjust consistency with more water if necessary.
- Stir in cinnamon while blending for added warmth.
- Serve warm or chilled in bowls or jars.
