Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add oil. Cook the sliced sirloin steak until browned (about 4-5 minutes). Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chopped bell pepper and diced onion to the skillet. Sauté until softened yet crunchy (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat; stir in provolone cheese until melted.
  4. Place about two tablespoons of filling into the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold the bottom over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly.
  5. For frying: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry egg rolls until golden brown (3-4 minutes per side). For baking: Brush lightly with oil and bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 20 minutes.
