- 4 lbs beef short ribs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil until well combined.
- Place short ribs in a zip-top bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Marinate for at least two hours or overnight for best results.
- Remove ribs from marinade and sear in a hot skillet for about three minutes on each side until browned.
- Transfer ribs to a roasting pan, pour remaining marinade over them, cover with foil, and roast for about three hours until fork-tender.
- Let rest before serving and drizzle with sauce. Pair with rice or noodles.
