Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg, vanilla extract, and scraped vanilla bean to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters.
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden.
- Let cool before serving.
