  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a saucepan, combine chopped tomatoes, onion, ginger, garlic, sugar, vinegar, and salt. Cook over medium heat until the mixture thickens.
  2. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and red chili powder. Stir well and cook for another 10 minutes.
  3. Blend the mixture to a smooth consistency and let it cool before serving.
