  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Cake Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the strawberry milk.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Frosting Preparation
  1. In a bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, strawberry milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Spread the frosting over the cooled pound cake.
