Marinade
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks fresh or canned
  • 2 tablespoons gochugaru Korean red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger grated
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar optional
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine pineapple chunks, gochugaru, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, sugar, and sesame oil.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until well combined.
  3. Transfer the marinade to a jar and let it sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
