Ingredients
  

Seafood
  • 500 grams prawns peeled and deveined
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 400 grams canned tomatoes crushed
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon parsley chopped for garnish

Method
 

Cooking the Sauce
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  2. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for an additional minute.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Cooking the Prawns
  1. Add the prawns to the sauce and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
