Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Oil for dough
  • 3/4 cup Water as needed
Filling Ingredients
  • 1 cup Mashed potatoes or any preferred filling
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder optional
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped cilantro

Method
 

Making the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt.
  2. Add oil and mix well.
  3. Gradually add water and knead to form a soft dough.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Preparing the Filling
  1. In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes with cumin seeds, chili powder, and cilantro.
  2. Ensure the filling is well combined and set aside.
Rolling and Cooking
  1. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each into a ball.
  2. Flatten each ball, place a spoonful of filling in the center, and fold the edges over to seal.
  3. Roll out the stuffed dough gently into a flat circle.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each paratha until golden brown on both sides.
