Prepare the Waffles
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix plant-based milk and vegetable oil. Combine both mixtures and stir until smooth.
- Preheat the waffle maker and pour the batter into it. Cook until golden brown.
Prepare the Vegan Chicken
- In a bowl, mix mashed chickpeas, bread crumbs, nutritional yeast, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Form the mixture into patties and coat with flour.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
Serve
- Serve the vegan chicken on top of the waffles with your favorite syrup.
