Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken thighs boneless
  • 1 cup buttermilk for marinating
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour for breading
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
Sandwich Assembly
  • 4 pieces burger buns
  • 4 slices cheese optional
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1 cup pickles optional

Method
 

Marinate Chicken
  1. In a bowl, combine chicken thighs and buttermilk. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Prepare Breading
  1. In a shallow dish, mix flour, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Fry Chicken
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
Assemble Sandwich
  1. Place fried chicken on the bottom half of each bun. Top with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Cover with the top half of the bun.
