Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 1 pinch salt
Filling Ingredients
  • 1 cup red bean paste
For Frying
  • 4 cups oil for frying

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy.
  2. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise for about 1 hour.
Shape and Fill
  1. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into circles using a cookie cutter.
  2. Place a spoonful of red bean paste in the center of each circle and fold over to seal.
Fry the Donuts
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Fry the donuts until golden brown on both sides.
  3. Remove and drain on paper towels.
