Festive Holiday Antipasto Wreath

An Italian-inspired holiday party showstopper! Arranged into an edible evergreen Christmas wreath using fragrant fresh rosemary branches, herb-marinated mozzarella pearls, sweet cherry tomatoes, Castelvetrano green olives, marinated artichokes, and folded ribbons of halal cured beef bresaola.

Ingredients
  

Wreath Greenery Foundation
  • 2 large bunches fresh rosemary sprigs arranged in a lush ring to form evergreen wreath base
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves tucked throughout for color and aroma
Antipasto Skewers & Grazing Elements
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella pearls or ciliegine marinated in olive oil, oregano, and crushed red pepper
  • 1 pint (10 oz) cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes ruby red holiday ornaments
  • 1 cup Castelvetrano green olives pitted, buttery and bright green
  • 1 cup Kalamata olives pitted
  • 1 can (14 oz) marinated artichoke hearts drained and halved
  • 6 oz halal beef bresaola or cured beef slices folded into accordions or florets
Finishing Drizzle & Dip
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil for glistening sheen
  • 1/4 cup thick balsamic glaze served in center bowl for dipping
  • 24 small bamboo cocktail picks for optional antipasto skewers

Method
 

Create the Rosemary Wreath Ring
  1. Select a large round white ceramic platter, wooden pizza board, or circular serving tray.
  2. Place a small dipping bowl in the very center of the platter (filled with rich balsamic glaze or pesto).
  3. Arrange bunches of fresh rosemary sprigs in an overlapping circular ring around the center bowl, curving the woody stems along the rim to create a thick, bushy evergreen wreath bed.
Assemble Antipasto Clusters
  1. Thread bamboo cocktail skewers with alternating elements: one folded beef bresaola ribbon, a mozzarella pearl, an olive, and a cherry tomato.
  2. Nestle the skewers evenly around the rosemary wreath ring.
  3. Fill any remaining open gaps with marinated artichoke hearts, loose Castelvetrano green olives, and fresh basil leaves for lush volume.
Drizzle & Present
  1. Lightly brush or drizzle the mozzarella and tomatoes with extra virgin olive oil for a sparkling holiday glow.
  2. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt and dried Italian oregano over the cheese pearls.
  3. Serve immediately with artisan grissini breadsticks and warm crostini!
