Cracked Garlic Steak Tortellini

Ingredients
  

Pasta and Steak
  • 12 oz tortellini fresh or frozen
  • 1 lb steak cut into strips
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
Garnish
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

Cooking the Tortellini
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain the tortellini in a colander and set aside.
Cooking the Steak
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the steak is browned and cooked to your liking.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Combining
  1. Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet with the steak and garlic. Toss to combine and heat through.
  2. Serve hot, garnished with parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
