Beef
  • 1 pound thinly sliced beef such as ribeye or sirloin
Vegetables
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 1 medium green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium mushroom sliced
Cheese
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
Condiments
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Rice
  • 2 cups cooked rice for serving

Method
 

Cooking the Beef
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned.
Adding Vegetables
  1. Add onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms to the skillet. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender.
Melting Cheese
  1. Place provolone cheese slices on top of the beef and vegetables. Cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
Serving
  1. Serve the beef and vegetable mixture over cooked rice in bowls.
