Caramel Sauce
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Apples
  • 4 medium apples washed and dried

Method
 

Prepare the Caramel
  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt. Cook over medium heat until melted and smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
Coat the Apples
  1. Insert wooden sticks into the apples.
  2. Dip each apple into the caramel sauce, ensuring it is fully coated.
  3. Place the coated apples on a baking sheet to cool.
