Ingredients

  • 1 pint Fresh strawberries Washed and dried
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar For coating
  • 1/2 cup Water For syrup

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until dissolved.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. Dip each strawberry into the syrup, ensuring it's well coated.
  5. Place the coated strawberries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Allow the strawberries to cool completely until the syrup hardens.
