Ingredients
  

Steak Marinade
  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
Steak
  • 4 pieces steak such as ribeye or sirloin
Caprese Topping
  • 2 cups fresh mozzarella sliced
  • 2 cups tomatoes sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze for drizzling

Method
 

Marinate the Steak
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Add the steak and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Grill the Steak
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
Prepare Caprese Topping
  1. While the steak is grilling, prepare the Caprese topping by layering fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil on a platter.
Serve
  1. Once the steak is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve it over the Caprese topping and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
