  • 4 medium pears ripe but firm
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon optional
Topping
  • 1 tablespoon chopped nuts such as walnuts or almonds

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the pears in half and remove the core.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  4. Fill each pear half with the ricotta mixture.
  5. Place the filled pears in a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped nuts before serving.
