Ingredients
  

Biscuits
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter cold, cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk or buttermilk
Filling
  • 1 cup shredded roast beef
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk until just combined.
Assembly
  1. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into rounds.
  2. Place a spoonful of roast beef and cheese on half of the rounds.
  3. Top with the remaining rounds and seal the edges.
  4. Place on a baking sheet and brush with beef broth.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
