Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips dairy-free if desired

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: honey, melted coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before slicing into squares.
