Method
Marinate the Chicken
- In a bowl, combine the chicken thighs, olive oil, shawarma spice blend, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, coriander, and lemon juice. Mix well and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cook the Chicken
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the marinated chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice char.
Assemble the Shawarma
- Slice the cooked chicken and serve in pita bread with tzatziki sauce and fresh vegetables.
