Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

- In another bowl, cream softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown but centers remain soft.
- Cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
